Qualifications for WebFile

You may file your tax return using IL-1040 WebFile if
  • you were an Illinois resident for all of 2011.
  • you (and your spouse, if filing jointly) have an Illinois Personal Identification number (IL-PIN) or, if no IL-PIN has been assigned to you, an Illinois drivers license or ID card .
  • you do you not have business subtractions or credits from Schedule 1299-C.
  • you are not taking a credit on Schedule CR for tax paid to another state.
  • you are not claiming a recapture of investments tax credits on Schedule 4255.
  • you are not claiming pass-through entity tax payments from Schedule K-1-T or K-1-P.
