Update to Proposed Amendments to Shipping and Handling Regulations

(Illinois Administrative Code Sections 130.410, 130.415 and 140.301)

At this time, these amendments are only in the proposal stage. As such, they will not be enforced effective October 1, 2012. The October 1, 2012, date was added only as placeholder for what will become the final effective date.

On August 21, 2012, the department conducted a public hearing on the above proposed regulations. As part of this rulemaking project, the department received a large number of comments which are being evaluated.
