How do I reinstate or renew my exempt (E) number?

Please send a copy of your current exemption certificate, a letter requesting reinstatement or renewal, a copy of your organization’s articles of incorporation and by-laws, and the most recent audited financial statement.  Religious organizations do not need to submit a financial statement.
