Your application asks for a FEIN. How do I know if I need a FEIN?
A Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) is not required for all business types. If you are a sole proprietor with no employees, you are not required to have a FEIN. All other businesses must request a FEIN from the IRS web site or by calling 1 800-829-4933.
