When does my certificate of registration expire?

If you are a retailer, your certificate expires in 5 years. It is renewed automatically as long as you are complying with all filing and payment requirements. If you are a reseller (i.e., wholesale distributor), your certificate of registration expires every 3 years. If you are a cigarette or tobacco distributor your license expires every year. If you are an electric self-assessor your license expires every two years. You must complete a renewal application at least 30 days before your certificate expires. If you discontinue your business, your certificate is invalid as of that date.
