I filed my IL-1040 electronically using your Web File system. How can I print a copy of my return?

To get a copy of your return, log back on to the Web File system. Click the "Start Filing" button. After entering your filing status, Social Security number(s) and IL-PIN(s), you should receive a screen with a message stating that your return has already been filed through Web File. At the bottom of the screen, enter your confirmation number. You will now go to the screen that allows you to download, view or print your return. If you do not have your confirmation number, call our Taxpayer Assistance at 1-800-732-8866 or (217) 782-3336.

You will be able to access your current year return while the system is available (through mid-October).  Once the system is no longer available, you will need to complete and submit a Form IL-4506, Request for Copy of Tax Return.
