What is the procedure to Fedwire our electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments?

Because of the expense involved for both the State and the taxpayer, we offer this option only as an emergency backup for an ACH debit or ACH credit payment.  If you cannot initiate your ACH debit or credit transaction on time, this is the only electronic alternative available to avoid late-payment penalties and interest.  You must call us at 217 782-6257 before you use the Fedwire option.
