Can I still use Web File or tax preparation software if I do not have an IL-PIN to file my individual income tax return?

No, you must have an IL-PIN to use the tax preparation software method of electronic filing. If you are married and filing a joint return, your spouse also must have an IL-PIN.  To check to see if you have been issued an IL-PIN, please click here.
