Does Schedule K-1-T need to be submitted to the department?

Fiduciaries filing Form IL-1041 and issuing a Schedule K-1-T to beneficiaries do not attach the Schedule K-1-T to the trust or estate's IL-1041.  However, a copy of each Schedule K-1-T must be kept and made available for inspection upon request by our authorized agents or employees.

Any beneficiary receiving a Schedule K-1-T must attach it to their Illinois income tax return.
