Is my railroad unemployment income taxable?

Any income received from railroad unemployment is not subject to tax in Illinois. You are allowed to subtract the railroad unemployment on Schedule M if this compensation is included in your adjusted gross income on Line 1 of Form IL-1040. For more information, see the instructions for Schedule M.
