What is the BIT E-File program?

The BIT E-File program is a part of the IRS MeF (Modernized e-File) program.  Beginning with 2009 returns, we have the ability to electronically receive and process the IL-1120 and the IL-1120-ST returns and payments using Modernized eFile in conjunction with the Internal Revenue Service. The Illinois MeF program allows you to file up to three years of returns and combined or separate payments on a rolling-calendar basis. The IL-1065 has been added for 2012 return date due in 2013.
