Why did I not receive an email after activating my MyTax Illinois account?

If you completed the activation summary and successfully submitted the information, you should have first received a confirmation screen and then an email a few minutes later. If you received the confirmation screen but have not received the email, please verify that the email is not in your “spam” or “junk” folders of your email inbox. The sender of the email will be listed as “MyTax Illinois [DoNotReply@illinois.gov]”. This email address can be saved to allow future emails to effectively reach your inbox.
