No. An electronic direct deposit of your refund or electronic debit of the amount you owe is available within the program but you are not required to use these options. If you do not want to have your refund directly deposited, do not complete the direct deposit information and select to receive your refund by either the debit card option or the paper check option. If you do not want to have the amount you owe directly debited from your checking or savings account, do not complete the debit information, and you may then pay by credit card or check.
